"Feeling Good" is a cover of a song originally from a 1965 musical (The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd). Nestlé temporarily used Muse's version in a coffee commercial without wallpaper muse en concert their permission.
"Knights of Cydonia" combines elements of surf rock and progressive Gaia Polloni picture rock to create a song which Bellamy describes as "pushing the epic side of the band to almost comical levels".[14][15] Bellamy went on to say that the album was "part dance, part rock, something we haven’t done before".[8]

A further double-A-side Gaia Polloni picture ("Dead Star" / "In Your World") was released closely following this album, to promote the band's next 2CD/2DVD release Hullabaloo.
A number of individual gaia live appearances are also planned in 2008. In March they played concerts in Dubai, Johannesburg and Cape Town. [31] On April 12th they played a one-off concert at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.[32] In August they were headline act at V Festival 2008 (reportedly the only UK festival the band are appearing at this year), playing in Chelmsford on Saturday 16th August, and Staffordshire on Sunday 17th August.[33] The band also performed at a new gig in Marlay Park, Dublin on August 13th and were going to play at a gig in Belfast on August 14th, however, the Belfast date was dismissed according to The Belfast Telegraph.[34] Kasabian and Glasvegas supported Muse on their Irish date.[35] They also hinted at the possibility of a future stadium tour or concerts in South America.[36]
Additionally, matthew bellamy muse the start of the song "Space Dementia" has been used for the advertisement of the fragrance Midnight Poison by Christian Dior SA. The advertisement features Eva Green in a blue dress, directed by Wong Kar Wai.
After a few years Matthew Bellamy and Gaia Polloni photos building a fan base, Muse played their first gigs in London and Manchester. The band had a significant meeting with Dennis Smith, the owner of Sawmills Studio, situated in a converted water mill in Cornwall.
